update #2

Sorry for not updating in such a long time, as I have been on vacation to Colorado. Ok back on point, I decided to keep the phone. I have used it now for about 10 days and I love it. I have gotten used to the suretype keypad. I am typing on it just as fast as I would on the computer. The email problem fixed itself by about the 6th day. All I did was gave up trying to call tmobile after every time and after about 2 days of it not working it started working. The battery life on this thing is amazing. I use it pretty heavily all day (about 20 minutes calling, 3 hours browsing, about 200 replies to emails/texts) and I am getting about 2 days after every charge. All in all, I love this phone and I am going to use it for a very long time.

Update

So I have used this phone for a couple of days now and it is great, but also has some bugs as well. First bug, my account keeps being suspended for some reason and I actually have credit on my t-mobile account! (I have called 3 times to fix this and it works for about 24 hours) In effect to this, everything besides e-mail works. (i.e. phone, texts, internet) Next bug, for some reason the 2gb MicroSD cards doesn't work, I hope this gets fixed in the firmware update. I love this phone, but if my account keeps becoming suspended and I have to call everytime to get it un-suspended then maybe this isn't the phone for me. This is really wierd because my 8700g never had this problem and I am thinking of going back to it, but as of now there are to many pro's to this phone to give it up. I'll keep you updated.

So I am here at school and I am typing this blog on my new phone. I got all my email working and internet set up...etc. The keypad is actually quite nice. It kind of feels like some gel material that moves when you need it. So far it seems like a wonderful phone, I'll keep you posted!

The box, pretty self-explanatory.

Contents of the box. And wow there it is. It is tiny! My first impression was that I loved it, we will see tomorrow.

Turning on for the very first time! The screen is delightfully bright and crisp, and the trackball glows like a pearl (hence the name).

Look how skinny it is. It reminds me of the Motorola Q.

The actual "SureType" keypad (double letters per key) is kind of scrunched down. It is fine though. I will write more on this tomorrow after using it for a couple hours.

Today I am finally trading in my hideous T-Mobile MDA for the new sleek, sexy Blackberry Pearl. I'll upload pictures when I get it!
